This plugin is amazing for people who don't have alternatives, especially because it's free. However, there are some downsides that make other alternatives more reliable: 1. It's very straight forward without enough options to play around with the sound of the log drums. 2. There aren't many samples to choose from (maybe there's a paid version with more sounds that I didn't notice). 3. Many producers are using Splice today, which has many Log Drum options that they can use to get better results. About the utility itself: 1. The middle knob is called "Resonance" but controls the dry\wet of the reverb. 2. The "Sweep" knob doesn't seem to do any audible impact to the sound. So, in conclusion, I believe more control over the sound (ADSR, Knock, Mono\Polyphonic options and portamento\latch of course, maybe different types of saturation\distortion, width, more samples\presets or other options that will let us control the sound will make this plugin be able to compete with other alternatives (there is already a logdrum plugin out there which gives better results and it's honestly pretty cheap). It's still a very good option for free. There aren't enough log drum plugins out there, so cheers for that!
