Veshbeats is a nigerian producer youtuber who will share with you some marketing techniques, precisely branding skills, in order to go like him from 3000 followers to 11 000 followers on Youtube in only 2 years.

Who are you and what do you do?

My name is VeshBeats, I am a music producer, Live sound and studio engineer, studied Industrial and Production engineering at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State.

How do you work?

I work mostly via the internet, some would call us internet producers, it’s okay but we use the internet to break barriers that the various entertainment industries have set (knowingly and unknowingly)


What’s your background?

I am from a family of 6, I have a degree in Industrial and Production Engineering. I have been in the Music Production Scene for about 6 to 7 years now, I love trying out other genres of music.

Do you play a real instrument?

I play the Keyboard (Piano) a little.

How you gain 11 000 followers on Youtube?

Consistently uploading contents and giving back to the producer community.

What advice would you give to someone who starting a YouTube channel as a producer?

Just start but before you just start, take out time to brand yourself, if you take out time to look good physically then you should take out more time to make your brand look even better,

Check out other YouTubers, look at their templates, create your own template and style, most importantly get a very very Good Graphics designer to brand you.

Which beat stores you use for selling your beats and why?

I use BeatStars, I think its the best out there, coupled with the fact that they know how to treat and satisfy their customers

How did you come up with the idea of making free loops and samples afro pack?

I really don’t know honestly, most times it happens that I am in the process of making a beat I might just lose inspiration or i can’t get a nice melody to put in, i just convert it into a percussion loop or drum loop.

How do you make passive income with your music placements?

we are not yet there yet, we are still growing.

Do you use newsletters with your customers for your new regularly uploads?

Still growing the family.


Which software do you use for making beats?

I use Fruity Loops (FL Studio 20)

Which plugins do you use for mixing and master your beats?

Fruity Limiter and Izotope 5 (for GPU and CPU sake)

How do you promote your beats?

I use Instagram, WhatsApp and Youtube.

Do you use Youtube ads for your beats?

No

What are your favorite producers?

Sarz, Masterkraft, 808 Mafia, Nick Mira, Simon Servida, Metro Booming, Timbaland, Echo and many more
