Beat Terms – For Producers / Vendors

This section applies to all producers and vendors selling beats on Afroplug Beats. By uploading and selling beats on the platform, you agree to the terms below.

1. Ownership & Responsibility

• You retain full ownership of your beats unless you sell an exclusive license.
• You confirm that:
  • The beat is original
  • All samples, sounds, and loops are royalty-free or properly licensed
• You are fully responsible for any copyright claims or disputes related to your beat.

Afroplug Beats does not own your beats and is not liable for copyright issues.

2. License Types You Can Sell

You may offer the following license types (depending on your setup):

• Free License
• Basic License
• Standard / Premium License
• Unlimited License
• Exclusive License

Each license must clearly define:

• Allowed usage
• Stream limits
• Commercial rights
• File formats delivered

3. Stream Limits & Usage Rules

• Stream limits are defined per license type.
• You must ensure that license terms accurately reflect:
  • Maximum streams
  • Commercial usage rights
  • Distribution limits

If a buyer exceeds the licensed stream limit:

• The buyer must upgrade their license
• You may request license compliance
• Afroplug may restrict access until resolved

4. Exclusive License Rules (Very Important)

If you sell an Exclusive License:

• The beat must be removed from public sale
• No further licenses may be sold for that beat
• The beat is considered sold out
• You may not re-upload or resell the same beat elsewhere unless explicitly stated in your exclusive terms

Failure to honor exclusivity may result in account action.

5. Audio Previews & Watermarks

• Preview audio may include:
  • Watermarks
  • Tags
  • Ad-libs or voice drops
• Final purchased files must be:
  • Clean
  • Untagged
  • Match the license description

Watermarked previews are allowed and recommended to protect your work.

6. Delivery of Files

You must ensure that:

• Correct files are attached to each license type
• Files are downloadable immediately after purchase
• Private download links (for exclusives) are delivered as agreed

Broken or incorrect downloads may result in refunds or penalties.

7. Pricing & Accuracy

• Prices must match the license rights offered
• Misleading pricing or license descriptions are not allowed
• Afroplug reserves the right to adjust or suspend listings that violate platform rules

8. Platform Role Disclaimer

Afroplug Beats:

• Acts only as a marketplace
• Does not verify copyright ownership
• Does not mediate legal disputes
• Earns only from marketplace fees

All legal responsibility remains with the producer.

9. Enforcement

Violation of these terms may result in:

• Removal of beats
• Suspension of vendor account
• Permanent ban in serious cases

Final Note

Selling beats professionally means treating licenses seriously. If you upload it, you stand behind it. Afroplug provides the platform. You provide the work and the responsibility.
